» Why I was late

Midweek Boozing = Bad
Thursday night.
"Fancy a few beers?" my mate said. "Yes" said I. Cut to 2am - We're still out on the town.

Friday morning.
Alarms have gone off and been reset. Mobile phone starts to ring around 10am. It's my boss. "Are you coming into work today?" My reply...

"Isn't it Saturday?"

Txt Messages
I've got a wierd one when it comes to txt messages - I'll pull my phone out of my pocket, look at it, put it back, then 10-20 seconds later I'll get a txt message. This'll happen a good few times a week, and I don't get all that many messages.

» Foot in Mouth Syndrome

water fights
I was at uni, it was baking hot and just before the exams, so we decided to have a water fight to let off a bit of steam. Well, it actually started with a pint of water being poured over a mate and went downhill from there. We'd made the sensible suggestion that glasses shouldn't be used as water recepticals, but after my plastic glass got nicked I ran into my room picked up a normal pint glass, filled it with water and went back outside. As I went outside, my mate came round the corner, we both threw water at each other, the two glasses connected, my glass smashed and cut through 3 tendons in his hand. He had to have a scribe all through the exams. Ooops.

» Spoooky Coincidence

oooh... another one
A group of us went to Glastonbury Tor for the summer solstice a few years back, all very nice. Came back down the hill and decided to head into a pub for a drink before heading back home.

Pub was busy as someones wedding reception was out in the back. They had hired a singer who's voice sounded strangely familiar. We all wondered out to the back and it turned out it was a friend from school who we hadn't seen for a good many years.

» Where is the strangest place you have slept?

so many
Oh dear... where to begin.

1) A long cold night on the floor at a house party next to the kitchen door. There was no other space anywhere warmer in the student den of iniquity.

2) In the changing rooms of a well known clothing chain. It had been a heavy night the night before. I was supposed to be working there. Didn't get the sack.

3) On the floor of a meeting room when the love bug hit work a few years ago. Did 36 hours with an hours sleep. There were nice comfy chairs in the room once, but they'd been moved elsewhere. Didn't have the energy to look for where they'd been moved to.

4) In the car, on the way up to Scotland. Woke up to a wonderful sunrise, and view over rolling hills and mountains. Most splendid!
