Hmm
I don't think i've ever really misunderstood instructions on anything.
Though i once thought 'Wet paint' meant you had to tip water on it. I was 4 at the time.

» Missing body parts
I haven't lost anything!
Other than my dignity.
However i do know a bloke who had his leg taken off and has a fake leg which didn't fit when he first had it and kept falling off. It also appears on tables in pubs when your trying to eat.

On leaving year 11
When we left year 11 for study leave it was throwing down the rain torrentially so we all went off to the local off-license where someone thought we would get served and sat around on a bench in the town square drinking cheap booze and eating cheese cobs. Bad drink does bad things as i then decided to walk the 2 or 3 miles home in a downpour - and i went the long way!

from anywhere
However someone i know told the story about how he has a lifetime ban from a pub for going in as part of a group to hear 'DUM DUM DUM' from the stereo drowning out everything else including conversation. Somone then asked the barman to turn it down and got the reply 'Can't the Brewery's set it'.
Some drunk then thought it'd be funny to say 'I'll turn it down for you!' and put his feet through all the speakers, cue the whole group getting thrown out.
And i know someone that picked a fight with a Landlord but he wasn't barred - he just wisely stayed away.

Yeah!!
I only really found out/noticed peoples dodgy makeshift costumes overt the last year at Uni.
Someone that lived down my corridor decided to go to a pimps and ho's event as Frank-n-furter from Rocky Horror, after scaring everyone and taking part in werid games he got smashed out of his mind and spent the whole evening running round halls with a group chasing him and hiding in showers (one kid went for a pee looked in the mirror and screamed when he noticed frank-n-furter behind him in the shower cubical). He later locked himself in the shower came out later and was restrained in his room!
I went to a services party (come dressed as someone in a service) once as the new Dr. Who, does that count?
