Muse shittity Muse. Even the name speaks of bored languishing. I swear the music is so bland that it makes Coldplay sound like some sort of cutting edge and inspiring outfit. In fact, Coldplay are a good band to compare Muse to, except everyone admits Coldplay is staid music for dinner parties in upper middle class suburbs of London. Muse however have this image as being a Rock band. A stadium Rock band. A progressive Rock band.

They are not a rock band. They are especially not a progressive rock band as is often mooted. They are the Kings of Leon of progressive music, they take ideas that have been done and distil them until a radio ready shiny substance is refined that can be spurted over Jack Wills wering tools who "like a bit of rock"

I cannot explain how angry Muse continued existence makes me.
