lunch at school very often consisted of...
going to the bakers/deli and buying a large crusty cob, hollowing it out and having it half filled with grated cheese. Next, go the the chippy and get them to fill that with chips and sausage/burger. Scoff, then go to the co-op and spend remaining 14p on packed of biscuits and scoff for dessert.
yum!
NB - I was a powerlifter and rugby forward as a teenager, so I was allowed* to do this!

yes
my local phone box had been cracked open, so every morning on my way to my paper round, I would go and empty the coin box. Donkey Kong took a lot of 10ps from BT

our local one was knackered and bt never seemed to empty it
so if you gave it a swift smack to the coin box* a decent amount of change was guaranteed to fall out the bottom

That manages to be simultaneously
the most disgusting and glorious lunch I can imagine.

I do like a battered sausage, slit and butterflyed in a roll with marg, ketchup and sea salt.
Or my latest one is to slice a bread roll into three, horizontally. Then cut a round hole in the thick middle slice, fry one side, flip it over, drop an egg into the hole, fry and flip a few more times, then butter/ketchup/salt the outer slices, and re-assemble the orginal roll.
Epic egg butty.
