so the guy gets DVT from sitting there playing computer games - up to 12 hours. Hmmmm... I generally work 8 - 9 hours at my desk a day (including get up to use the facilities or grab lunch)I'd imagine there are a lot more people who work longer, or who leave their desk less. I wonder why DVT isn't a bigger issue, or if it is, why it therefore isn't reported?

Both my parents had DVTand in neither case was it the result of sitting around for long periods of time.
