[challenge entry] Sorry, no train based anecdotes I'm afraid....

On an unrelated note, would anyone know why my PS CS6 has refused to open all morning?,On PC and I click my icon, spinny cursor starts spinning but thats it.
Wont open or go further than that. Tried ctrl/alt/shift when opening which also didnt open it, tried as administrator which didnt either, uninstalled it, re-installed it, used the proper PS software removal tool and uninstalled it and reinstalled it again but still.... nothing.... Any ideas guys? I'm forced to use CS4 portable which is a bit shit...
Ta.

# I did do that first
Last night I changed 'my' name on the PC so I assumed it might have been a conflict with C:\users\robney\ etc being changed, so changed it back, then re-installed but that made no difference

# go into safemode then exit and restart
this re-aligns all windows files in the correct order and can sometimes help with startup problems.Another obvious one would be system restore.

# I shall try safe mode,
system restore isn't helping as I had it knocked down to about 20 meg, my choice. Don't mind a re-install but it wont even work once installed so that is annoying me. f8 for safe mode right? I'm on windows 8 if that matters....
