# There's a lot to Alien 3 that I liked
shame it's such a mess.

# Up until they make a complete arse of the ending it's great.

# Yeah, the end was shite
I do love the setting, and the ox birth was much better than the dog.

# *googles*

# Much better
also some earlier scenes with them retrieving ripley.

# I like Alien 3
it looks great, has a very good score and there are a couple scenes that are very powerful (the birth of the Alien and the ending). I don't think it would have been a good idea to make the Gibson wooden monk spaceship film that often gets stated as one of the best films never made...

# I agree about the wooden ship
If they had scripted alien 3 better it would have worked fine.

# and if they
hadn't killed both Newt and Hicks. Interested to see what Bloomingkamp is gonna do with his film, if it does follow on from Aliens - how will they explain the ageing? Faulty cyro units?

# Bloomin' travesty just summarily offing Newt and Hicks after the shift that they put in in Aliens!
(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 14:46, archived)
# yeah
I don't really care about how they set up the new alien film tbh. Having these folks back in an alien adventure will be great, all this nit picking is bullshit, it's only a film and it's what most of us want, so why not innt? : )
