It always confused me why it was called Boss Cat yet the title song still called him Top Cat.

# Because Top Cat was a brand of pet food in the UK, and the BBC didn't want to be seen as advertising it.
But yeah... they could have changed the theme tune.
They did want Dennis Waterman to do it but he also wanted a part in it!
