There is a very fun game that uses Google maps - you have to figure out where you are, anywhere in the world that has been streetview mapped.

There are no real rules - some people play with just a quick look, others like me will go a ways down the road to look for clues.

got within 10 meters on all 5 targets, two were within 2 meters. That took some hard searching, translating and image searching! The worst ones are Russian tundra (too easy to confuse with Canadia) and Outback/South Africa roads look much the same.
