Incidentally, this one time I was in Bolivia about 9 years agothere was a young girl hanging around a small village in the mountains in full traditional garb, holding a baby alpaca. Obviously, she was there so that any passing tourists would want to take pictures, and give her money and/or sweets.
Anyway, an English bloke on the same bus spoke a bit of Spanish, and tried to engage her in conversation by asking the alpaca's name. She didn't understand his rudimentary linguistics, and replied with her own name - "Norma".
"No," my English friend responded, "alpaca nombre?"
Finally, she understood. "Harry Potter," she replied.
