true story: a review copy of that was sent to some journo or other. in one scene, a phone number was scrawled on a piece of paper by an mi5 agent. it was clearly in shot, so the journo thought he'd have some fun, and called it. after hearing some whirrs and clicks, he realised that he'd just dialed in to a mainframe computer.

twenty minutes later special branch arrived at his home, questioned him, and took the tape. in the broadcast version, the phone number was not shown at all.

I watched the whole series back to back when i was a student. Really enjoyed it, although i wasnt sure about all the gaia theory stuff.

Joe Don Baker was great in it, though!!
