the hippos and terrapins and things were "collectibles" that didn't need making - I always considered the egg a total failure when I got one!

my favourite one involved a little round shaped thing with a face and if you pulled the cord out fast enough it would spin into space! It was great until my cat killed it

sitting on a bench opening their kinder eggs, one of them got a jigsaw and the other got a strange boat thing, they seemed quite disapointed

some of the best i got though was a food processor on wheels whose eyes would spin round when you wheeled it around and a horse on wheels
