Ive had a fun day
Almost got the sack this morning.
I was only downing a bottle of stella artois at 10:30 in the morning.
Sounds like a bad thing to do in work but it was done as a joke. The type of agency I work in is a relaxed environment type place.Unfortunately someone who I cosidered a friend and had a lot of respect for went balistic at me shouting at me like a little kid.
Tells the boss, boss wants to sack me but I have one more chance. Did I harm anyone or the company by drinking one bottle of stella artois that was in the company fridge because it was at the wrong time of day? Obviously I did. I over estimated the intelligence of certain people in my work. Especially when the boss tells me for a start he's worried as to why i need a drink at 10:30 in the morning.(It was a frigging joke, not a funny one but a light hearted one)

If they were as cool
an agency as they make themselves out to be they should have made light of the situation. Sadly they aren't

fine
but the pub is just across the road there, under the church spire. Incidently Michael Caine lives next to the church, we can invite him too.

The Stag
blinding local, none of your plastic pub lark, just smelly old men, good beer and an open mike night every thursday.

I won
a meat raffle in Australia 3 days before I had to leave the country....
we were feeding top class pork chops to cats and eating roast beef for breakfast.
