(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:47, archived)
# SkyOne
Press Red, choose "David Blaine", press red again for full screen. It's live 24/7 I think.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:48, archived)
# Red?
The only read button I have is this one saying 'OFF' above it...

however that would be a good thing to press when anything with David blaine comes on
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:50, archived)
# Do you have Sky Digital?
If not, that might explain it. Don't worry, I've got the feeling a lot of recordings will be floating around.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:52, archived)
# I didnt know
you could do that. I just put it on now but its shite, hes just sitting there, waving like hes the queen mum. Bring on the pens I say. Big crowd there might be difficult.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:56, archived)

But then I realise he's doing it voluntarily for £5 million, whereas other people are starving.

I know 100's of people have said the same thing about people starving...I don't care.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:45, archived)
# it's true though
People (like Uri Gellar) bug me when they say he's going through 'an ordeal' he's doing it volunterily and can escape any time...that's not an ordeal!
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:47, archived)
# she should be strung up
no, hanging's too good for her...

the laserpen thing's going to be dull, 'cause he's already had them pointed at him - he'll just wig out and think he's being aimed at by snipers again.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:46, archived)
# the bloke got arrested
and she asked if she could give him a taste of his own medicine...he enjoyed it by all accounts

# That's quite the opposite of dull
Him with his "I'm so cool" image pissing himself!
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:49, archived)
# why does it matter so much?
I wouldn't bother to cheer him on, but I wouldn't bother to give him abuse either.

He wouldn't do it if he hadn't worked out a safe and easy way of doing it. He chose to do it. He's getting paid to do it. Just let him get on with it. Not worth getting into trouble for.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:48, archived)
# I think it's the smug '10% better than jesus stuff'
whereby he expects us all to bow down and say he's amazing, which isn't really how it works in this country, fortunately.
That said, irritating as he is, I too couldn't be arsed to go all the way there (well, one stop down from my office...) just to abuse him, in fact I couldn't be arsed to switch the telly on to watch him.
