I wouldn't bother to cheer him on, but I wouldn't bother to give him abuse either.

He wouldn't do it if he hadn't worked out a safe and easy way of doing it. He chose to do it. He's getting paid to do it. Just let him get on with it. Not worth getting into trouble for.

whereby he expects us all to bow down and say he's amazing, which isn't really how it works in this country, fortunately.
That said, irritating as he is, I too couldn't be arsed to go all the way there (well, one stop down from my office...) just to abuse him, in fact I couldn't be arsed to switch the telly on to watch him.
