# ok! Any newbies out there?
this is a great example. See the pic above? interesting isnt it? good even. But its too damn big, it is collosal in fact. The reason that this matters is that the board has a finite amount of space, hence when you post clossi, other people conversations and pics which havnt got a mention yet DROP RIGHT OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET! Its true, honest. Kepp your image sizes down please, you can link to larger piccies using simple html tags which are kindly explained in the faq.

Good hummusing one and all.

# actually...
the board displays the last 20 threads, regardless of the number of replies in those threads or the physical size of the post contents.

I guess big pics just bug some people.

# actually the dimensions of your post don't matter.
When you start a new thread, you knock an old one off.

But for the sake of usability, small pics are definitely better - also if they're 280 wide they might make the front page! And pics which don't take too long to download are helpful for dialup b3tans.

# I think you'll find
That image dimensions are irrelevant - it's the byte size of the image you should be more worried about!

After all, what's worse: a 30x30 image that is 95Kb or a 100x100 image that is 25Kb?
