bbc news clicky

Godfrey Bloom was given a seat on the European Parliament's women's rights committee on Tuesday.

But he told the media: "No self-respecting small businessman with a brain in the right place would ever employ a lady of child-bearing age."

......

Mr Bloom, an investment fund manager from York, told journalists he wanted to deal with women's issues because: "I just don't think they clean behind the fridge enough".

"I am here to represent Yorkshire women who always have dinner on the table when you get home. I am going to promote men's rights," he added.

# I'm not registered to vote
because you have no fucking privacy when you do that. excellent have your name & address details published on 192.com. let them cross reference your phone number as BT forgets to put you ex directory allowing any passing scum with a laptop to look in your house, like the look of it and get your phone number to see if you are in.

or if you are like me with rare name and involved with areas of work that involved expensive equipment you really don't want to be searched for.

plus if im going to give away my privacy i want something out of it. unfortunatly the let any fool vote so im just a voice screaming in a hurricane. why bother?
