[challenge entry] Semirepost
I posted a different version of this before but it's slightly prettier now.

Also demonstrates a better way to make animated GIF movies smaller than using the lines thing. (Even though this one is quite huge anyway. Ahem.)

# nice idea
but when I was a lad, all computer screens (and arcade screens) had those lines through them, so I don't really notice them

# I quite like that effect
at first I thought people were doing it purely for aesthetic reasons

# Reminds me a bit
Of this which is pretty much the coolest thing I've seen on the web in recent weeks

Edit: Sorry, I forgot about the site itself- NSFW (damn sponsors, got them blocked myself)

# Oh yes
The tiles.ice.org zoom thing.
I wish tiles.ice.org still existed. *Looks*
Ooh, is it back?

# ...
Pretty damn trippy.

Left click, move the mouse up, keep it clicked, don't move it. While the left button is still kept clicked, click the right mouse button, release both. As long as you don't move it, it will keep on going.
Stare at it's centre for a couple of rotations, and move the mouse slightly so that it stops. Now keep staring at the centre. Eyes go funny, picture distorts. Seizure possible.

I like the pretty lines. More than pixelation, at least.

Nice animation though.

# putting lines on it
resizes it by the same amount, and doesn't look quite so pixellated.

woo though
