but you should avoid frames; they`re all the nasty - with a CSS2 compliant web browser, you can have the fixed navigation areas and so on doing it the nice way (as far as I remember IE doesn`t support fixed positioning, so it`ll scroll)

maybe change the hyperlink colours and style the fonts to a sans serif?

much better than the web sites I`ve done :)

but they are a pain in the arse to get google to index properly. Nice boring plain static pages are easier to maintain and google won't send your customers to your navigation bar or whatever. Unless you faff around with Javascript redirections and shit and it gets really messy.
