[challenge entry] They always complain then say they don't bother voting...

Only my 2nd ever post but let's get opinionated...

I've met a lot of Americans, it always amused me that they tell you how they hate the man in charge at the time... Then they reveal they can't be bothered to vote... Well don't be surprised at which idiots get elected then!

I voted for him in 2000.

But I did vote to fire him in 2004.

And woo to the statement!

# If ever there was an appropriate occasion to say...
..."IT'S FUNNY 'COS IT'S TRUE!!!!"

It's now!

I too, have met FAR too many Americans - both home and abroad - that will bitch until the cows come home about the current President/Govt.

...But then when pushed - will just CASUALLY reeveal that - they actually didn't vote in the last election/don't vote at all/never have voted/don't acutally know what voting is/Live in Florida and therefore know that actual voting is irrelevant...

And what's more - are damn well PROUD of it!!!

It would be even funnier if it weren't so damn DANGEROUS - As the result = George W Bush.

# yup
just like the American soldiers who go and bring DEMOCRACY in Iraq.
Saw an interview about one a couple of months ago.

"Who did I vote for? No, I don't vote"
that's democracy eh...
