CAn I recommend you take some time to read the FAQ, it does mention that images should be about 50k and animations 200k

no, betelgeuse will merely appear as an enormously bright supernova
only if we are aligned with its axis will any significant amount gamma radiation reach us. if that is so, we are doomed.
