The name's Jack, Fred Jack. A quick question; how do I move a layer in a frame in Image Ready, and have the same layer move in all the other frames? It's driving me fucking mental...

pic frames out of a .mov file. I can't seem to write the words Woo and Yay on the layers though:( so I'm struggling with image ready too.

I dropped the film on Image Ready and picked out the frames I wanted (every 8th I think), then painted the words directly onto each frame with the pencil tool...

# Right click on the animation box at the bottom
in the frame you want to duplicate, with the right layer selected, and select "same position across frames" or similar...

It's well hidden (bastards) but it's there.

holding shift & selecting the range of frames you want to move the layer in. then move the layer & it'll shift across all of them.
