;)

# hehe - at my home office today - well at least this morning.
But could do with a beer - it's so hot!
How bout you sir?
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:56, archived)
# Actually knuckling down a bit today.
Not to say that i didnt go out and check the crab traps earlier and take time out to feed the bream and ducklings:)

I know what you mean about the temperature. There is not a breath of wind off the lake and we have no air con. Beer would help quite nicely!

# Who'd suspect him of being an elite secret agent?
I went shopping today.
Terribly exciting.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:53, archived)
# Not a shopping fan I'm afraid.
Unless it's for games. I can shop for games. Aimlessly and with no money too.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:53, archived)
# Food
Nyom!
Although I need to go shopping tomorrow too, to stock up on sugary unhealthy snacks.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:55, archived)
# Nice!
I reccomend Rice Crispies Squares. They're great if you get the ones with chocolate.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:57, archived)
# Bit expensive
I might buy some supermarket-own-brand rice crispies and choccy and make my own.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:59, archived)
# Do it!
Perhaps mix a few coco pops in just for good measuure?
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:01, archived)
# I can do music shopping and food shopping.
I struggle with anything else. I did manage to buy a new jumper over the weekend though.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:56, archived)
# Yeah I like music shopping too.
Although I can never bring myself to spend money on music, well, rarely.
I find the people that work in HMV and the sort to be really snobbish.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:58, archived)
# me too
with an ex who asked me to make sure i stopped her from spending too much/buying more than she could carry and then refused to listen to me when i told her to put things back.
meh, would be bothered if i had a chance

who is the chappie in these pictures-ris?
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:53, archived)
# Boris Johnson.
A charmingly blithering Conservative politician currently running for mayor of London.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:54, archived)
# i'd like him to get it
I just want to see how he'd handle the olympics
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:56, archived)
# I like him.
I know little of his politics but I just think he's very funny. He's great whenever
he goes on Have I Got News for you.
(, Tue 29 Jan 2008, 23:59, archived)
# That doesn't necessarily mean he can run a city of 5 million or so people
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:00, archived)
# I was by no means saying I'd vote for him.
Just saying that I like him, or his public image at least.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:02, archived)
# Fair enough, I enjoy him too.
Completely incompetant, but very amusing.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:07, archived)
# Precisely.
Maybe he should run for Court Jester. Does such a postion still stand?

# I'm sure it can be revived in such a special case
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:09, archived)
# Excellent.
I'll make arrangements.

# sydney
Mayor was Frank Sartor (an unpleasant arsehole)
Premier (dude running New South Wales) was Bob Carr, second only to Arfat in the ugly politican stakes and the commitee was run some cnut who's name i forgot.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:04, archived)
# I see.
But the Olympics went well regardless? I really don't think I can remeber it.
Was it Jonathon Edwards last one where he set the WR?
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:06, archived)
# dunno didn't watch it
after all the fuss of organisation, funding cuts to pay for it all, blah blah blah, i was fairly indifferent to the whole thing.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:09, archived)
# Yeah alot of people are pissed off about it here
but I did my Geography project on Barcelona and the extent to which the
Olympics improved the city and I think if the same happens to London
it'll be the best thing to happen to the place since Christopher Wren
re-built it after the Great Fire.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:13, archived)
# you'll be lucky
although we ended up with a couple of improved roads (I think they're tollways) and a fantastic, state of the art, sports stadium (fan-fucking-tastic). all while our rail system slips to a standard not seen since 1879, education is letting people leave school barely able to read, write and add, health systems let mothers miscarry in toilets...(ok, I'll stop my rant now...)
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:22, archived)
# Heheh
:]
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:03, archived)
# Haha.
Did you reply to my picture just because I replied to yours?
Is this a pitty reply?
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:04, archived)
# No, sir.
I replied to your picture because I liked it.

I don't do pity replies.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 0:12, archived)
# I'm glad of it.
I was quite pleased with it so thank you. :D
