i think scientology warned him and south park after the in the closet episode
that he wouldn't be doing chef anymore if they didn't behave. I think he fell out with them over it and quit.

given that his 'spokespeople' cant even get it right
whether he had a stroke or not (he himself says he did) I wouldnt put a lot of stock into what his spokespeople say.
He was interviewed last year and says he wasnt paid enough, and that his employers were not that nice.
Personally I dont think he was fired, and especially not for being a scientologist (law suits ahoy!)
Most likely it was a mutual agreement whereby he no longer worked for the SP team and no more was said by either side.
