when i was in france with the lady last month i was in a restaurant and ordered a steak, medium rare. the waiter cautioned me 'you know zat medium rare is a leetle beet peenk in ze meedle?'
I had to raise the stakes and say 'only a little bit pink? I'd better have it rare then'
no french fucker condescends to me.

there are two places i want to take you and fae for foods. one is the best pie in the world and the other is my favourite curry place. that place looks brilliant. i've not eaten in that area. i usually eat in south east londinium

There's an amazing veggie curry house just around the corner in Charlotte Street, and a great Spanish place about 100 yards away.

But the japanese place at the top of the Hilton Metropole has a similarly fantastic view.

Edit: Also, the 'Heights' place right next to Broadcasting House, food is variable, but the view is amazing.
