I had completely and utterly forgotten how to do anything on it, odd, as I was a bit of an Amiga h4x0r in my day.

Quick question regarding Adobe® Photoshop® Image Manipulation Software™
?

1. Use the magnetic lasso and get your first outline. (personally I think this tool is inaccurate and prefer to do it myself, unless you're tight for time)
2. Select the manual version (forget what its called), not magnetic or polygonal.
3. Press and hold shift - the cursor should add a "+" symbol. Keep holding it till you've begun to select, then you can release it.
This will combine the two - you can keep adding to the slected area crefully rathe rthan doing it all in one go.
Huzzah!
