Possibly the wrong term, but
I'm sure one reason people like to hate her is that it makes them look better, nicer people in comparison.
The posts they are making (and arguably the hacking in the first place) doesn't really make anyone look very good. It almost makes you feel sorry for Katie Hopkins.
