Ronson is good at sniffing out strange people but he's not all that great at bringing stuff out of them, he seems to step back a bit and go "Oh, you're strange, that's interesting...." and lets them roll with it.

Best of all the comedy animals.
I guess, i kind of prefer Louis Theroux's technique of subtle questions that brings stuff out of the people he's looking at.
I do like Ronson's books, quite humorous, i was pissing myself at the Bohemian Grove bit with Alex Jones at the end of 'Them', Ronson and Rick wandering around and enjoying themselves, Jones and Mike diving behind trees and believing danger lurked everywhere.
