It's a conspiracy now, that people seeking to improve their own approval
might self-righteously accuse others of possessing their own guilty failings?
Is it also a conspiracy when someone who refuses to take a side in an argument is accused of bias by one side, or the other, or even both at the same time?
I'd call that 'shit people do' rather than 'conspiracy theory'.
I'd even go so far as to suggest that that's exactly what you're doing.
My point is that ignoring the genuine opinion of a particular group of people, and automatically pretending to be offended or taking up a crusade on their behalf, is in itself just another form of ignorance and bigotry.
