Saw some of his work on TV so went to see his live show.
Mistake.
Weak support act raised a couple of smirks for twenty minutes, then we were sent back out to the bar for half an hour. When the lights came up on the second half he wandered on, told a few rambling stories about being unable to get laid and how shit it is being gay/Jewish/him specifically, berated us for not laughing at them and how we should be grateful we got the tickets to this "testing the material" show cheap (£17), then totally failed to deal with heckler (in a *theatre*). After about 45 minutes he went off, and when the lights went up and the smattering of applause died away it was apparent that was it - no encore, and no apology for wasting... oh, not even an hour and a half of my life counting the support act and interval. We were on the pavement outside again before 9pm. Never, ever again, absolutely the worst act I have ever paid money to see, and I've seen some dreadful amateurish crap in my time.
