I don't think it is shot by shot recreation. Just awful lot of 'nods' to please cellar dwellers.

Not really.
Constant nodding was one of the things that ruined Prometheus. That and the plot, and the cast.

Not by a long shot.
Whoever has made this video has included parts from both films and from the first season of the TV show.
This video has also reminded me of the stupid superhero origin story they've added for the Major. Maybe that was in the manga, I don't know, but call me a cynic if I say they've probably stuffed that part up too.
