I think the problem is time, will all the existing EU legislation be properly debated?
or will it be down to the government to make the decisions? It's the root of the bonfire of rights fear - that the government will use the lack of time to get everything legally watertight to pursue its own agenda

Welll the "great repeal bill" is supposed to deal with all that.
Not saying there won't be fuck ups because it's a huge job but they not going to sneak in getting rid of the WTD. Look what happened with the NI contributions in the budget for example.

Like I said I hope there's time for proper scrutiny, this was a single issue that was reported on extensively (as it was in the budget) - there was time for public outrage to be registered. I'm not sure how many of the bits of legislation will have time for a proper airing.
Yes, agreed it's the biggest legal job in our country's history.
