No it makes perfect game theory sense.
She still wants the man. So she doesn't hurt him.
She has a negative view of other women -especially those who might steal her man. She delivers a strong message. The other women involved are interesting.
Contrast and compare with typical male jealousy behavior which is all about controlling the woman.

Capsaicin? I had an intresting experiance with that stuff.
got some in my left eye once driving up the M1 had to pull of at toddington and spent 40 odd mins with my left eye pretending to be a hose pipe before i could get back behind the wheel again
