This is a normal post TL;DR
Is this the sort of 'free speech is dead' war-cry that Katie Hopkins bellowed when she got sued by Jack Monroe for erroneously tweeting she'd pissed on a war memorial? (turned out Hopkins got her feminists mixed up and meant Laurie Penny)
Luckily, libel rules still trump free speech

This is a normal post I don't think so. She actually settled out of court with Weinstein after he allegedly sexually assaulted her, so she speaks from experience.
There's a lot coming out now about how people at the top of the NYT and NBC killed stories in the last 10 years or so that exposed him. Twitter often shuts down the voices of those it deems on the wrong side.

This is a normal post Isn't it because she wrote libellous things about Ben Affleck though?
Just because he's a long time friend and colleague of Weinstein. (How is that pronounced by the way? Like Einstein but with a W?)

Because she's determined to make the rapist, and apparently anyone who has ever met the rapist, pay.

Not quite. The understanding is that both Affleck and Damon were complicit in his behaviour and the allegations go so far as to suggest they helped him engineer situations.

This is the tip of the iceberg - Hollywood has been doing this to its starlets for years..apparently.

This is a normal post I think that's what everyone kinda expected, though, isn't it?
I wonder how much of this is Trump's doing. I mean, a lot of these same people said he was unfit for office because of a tape in which he discussed how celebrity gives you certain power. It became a byword about him. But, he is president and has access to all sorts of things.

Same with Obama with the Tea Party: going to protest my healthcare law? Fine have fun with the IRS - hit them where it counts.

This is a normal post Corey Feldman has been claiming it for years. He's kinda been ignored and treated like an abused stepson. Wait...

This is a normal post what is wrong with a little rape?
why are people so uptight all of a sudden? In the 70s we were much more hip to rape

This is a normal post The casting couch wasn't even proper rape.
Studio honchos never used knives or power tools or physically threatened their so-called victims, they just threatened careers. And given that it wasn't even so much an open secret as completely out in the open that the casting couch thing happened, one has to wonder just what kind of women and pretty-boys would even be willing to go for a studio interview in the first place.
