the pics were done last september or october
i did try to make some red led throbing lights, like knightriders car type of effect, but made a right cock up that shorted out the battery and led to an intresting few moments with smoke. So since then i have been told in no uncertain words from Mrs FBK that i must behave and stop doing stupid things that could set my leg on fire.

I made a hat that did a Knightrider thing round the brim a couple of years back. Did it all with a light strip that plugged into the USB port of a Raspberry Pi running off a phone battery bank so there was no sparking. I might still have a parts list and the files to do it around here somewhere.
You know, in case you ever want an argument with the missus that is.
