I saw a vulcan bomber once. It was like an earthquake.
Here's a nice one www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU_X5QYBSto

Once saw an Englisg Electric Lightning doing static engine testing at the old RAF Binbrook site
We where stood about half a mile away watching a single venue rally, when we heard the jets start up and run for a couple of mins before doing a power test.
The noise was something you could feel in your chest and left my ears ringing for the rest of the day. what a great sight and sound

I've been to a few airshows
Harriers were among the quieter things there. F/A-18s on full afterburner were a good deal noisier. B1s more so. I've not seen one personally, but Viggens are supposed to be some of the noisiest buggers around.

I seem to recall the TR-1 variant of the U2 as being spectacularly loud.

Used to live near
The Hyeres base/airport in the south of France.
War games with the US Navy where epic.
Cue to Mirage F1’s taking off full afterburner and staying full blast below treetop level with F4’s in hot pursuit trying to catch them before the mountains.
Yes, it would break roof tiles, but the French army replaced them no problem.
Watching Canadair water bombers scoping up water during Mistral winds with one wing over the sea, the other over the beach with their rotary engines going total potato was also maze balls.
