But in other places it might be handy looking for Russian trolls, and etc.

Feels like you'd get lots of false-positives for that.
Most people probably wouldn't think of a cropped image as edited but you'll still get a big red "yes".

Yeah but
You can change a lot about a story by cropping a picture.
Maybe it would be amber.
