little boys, not given guns, will make them out of twigs and lego. Little girls not given dolls will be equally inventive to create them. It isn't society giving them to the children - it's hardwired in the DNA of children to play with guns or dolls according to gender

My parents were very strict about not giving me military stuff, or violent vidyagames etc. All I did was make my own, or play those games in secret.
