Vote. Vote. Vote. The 'i like this' button moves stuff to the popular page and creates a handy catch-up of interesting links you and others might have missed.
Try and write copy that gives people a reason to click the link. Be succinct in your titles, you can be more wordy in the description. Some great tips here.
No shock sites, link flooding (i.e. posting two or more similar links in a row), spam, screamers, recursive links back to the links board, reposts, reposts of photoshops you've already posted on our other boards, directly linking to executables, hawking your client work (yes design agencies. That means YOU), using the board to abuse other communities and linking to sites with excesive adverts (pop-ups etc). Failing to listen to this could get you banned.
