I do disagree with his ideas on free speech a bit
There has to be a limit on what we allow to be spread in the media. When it gets to the level of hate and incitement that is expressed in the daily fail etc then even the person who promotes press freedom the most should see that at some point it becomes hurtful to the public and the public discourse that would enable us to move forward and reduce hate and violence. If they look at the situation honestly and not through a fundamental attitude where anything said by the press is OK then they will see this.
If freedom of speech means people can promote hate and violence towards sections of the public then at that point it is not something that should be protected. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press should only protect speech which is not hate speech, and does not incite violence or hatred toward any section of society.

you would realise I was calling for the laws and the enforcement of them to be strengthened so by now they would have been.
Jimmy Saville was never convicted of anything either. Just because people have not been convicted of something does not mean they are not guilty of breaking the law.
