There are simply too few electric jugs in music today
If you say 'more cowbell' the producer high fives you and sends the drummer back in the booth.
Ask for a decent electric jug track and it's all shrug shrug shrug instead of frug frug frug.
The Roky Ericksson story is tragic - he copped an insanity plea to get out of some mind boggling sentence for possession of a few jays and got slammed in the bin and mentally tortured to boot.

From what ive read
Police used to turn up at every gig to search Roky.
And god knows what having ECT did to him.
And i concur.His story is tragic.
The system failed him terribly.
He was way more ahead of his time than any of those trying to neuter his magnificent talent.
