Largest aeroplane finally flies
Unfortunately for them it's a technical dead-end. SpaceX demonstrating reusability of first stages has completely undermined the case for building this thing, and they don't even have a rocket they can strap under it yet.

They might be able to build a business transporting outsized loads
AN225 isn’t the youngest aircraft out there.
But its main mission is gone. It’s obsolete before entering service. A Defiant in a world of Me109s
