I think 'xenobots' is a bit misleading, they're not "living robots" they're just cells, not even gene-edited ones at that
it just sounds like they're fucking around with the properties of frog cells. all cells self-assemble in multicellular organisms, otherwise they wouldn't be multicellular. I'd like to see them take a foetus and power something with its early muscle contraction and call it a "living robot" and see how that flies
