School boy days
Cider ice lollies for threepence
Looking for a ten pence
In the long grass at lunchtime
Untidy hair
Torn blazer
Remember the slogan
Enrich the time to come
Look where it’s got you
Look where you’ve gone
Now look where you’ve gone
Now look where you’ve gone
I am all alone now
In my little room
With my thoughts all
Floating round and
In the corner
There’s an image I have of you
You’re cycling
You’re smiling
You’re falling
You have
Gone away

Nnnice tuneage!
But - bit ropey on the vocals mix / recording. Maybe a bit of filtering to get the wet clicks off, or summat?
The cliff jumping thing seems a bit tasteless, with a bunch of tombstoners being in the news just recently. And maybe lose the audio from the video, wind fluff doesn't go well with the lovely indie sound of your tune.
Anyway - pull up a kitten, etc.

Hi
Thanks for the feedback
Yes it’s a very ropey mix! The track on Soundcloud is just the music but this is the first original song I’ve recorded and I thought it needed a video and I’ve never done one before and I used videos I have taken myself on my phone but I couldn’t get the sound off( I edited in iMovie)
The cliff jumping thing is not really the same as a bunch of amateurs chucking themselves off a cliff. I don’t mean to offend anyone just did it as I thought it fitted in

unfamiliar with imovie but surprised it does not have the option to mute the audio of individual tracks?

Oh dear you’d better believe it. It’s just a coincidence it’s in the news.

Reminds me of Pink Floyd, but I can't remember which album.
As far as tombstoning goes, isn't it called coasteering when they're wearing wetsuits?
(, Tue 2 Jun 2020, 19:54, Reply)
Thanks
Glad someone likes it. A friend of mine said it sounded a bit like Syd Barrett.
I can live with that !
I’m not sure what you call it really, coasteering is more climbing and traversing and swimming.

but would suggest dropping the guitar level a tad (a gnats bollock is the technical term i believe)

Yes the levels aren’t good
Sounds better on headphones
But you’re right
Thanks for the advice 😎

unfortunately, nobody else will ever hear it that way though. best listen to your mix on as many sources as possible taking notes before committing to a 'final' mix
great works of art are never finished, only ever abandoned... or just slap a judicious limiter on the master and move on...

Can one leave a bad review on a spamcunt's product even if one haven't bought it? Asking for a friend. It would be an awful thing to do, if it was possible, definitely not worth signing up for,

You can get them to be autogenerated but to be honest I wanted to kind of curate them so they'd be a step above that. It's easy to generate an impossible one, or just a shit one, basically.

I use a small size toothpaste tube when I'm travelling. I rinse it out when it's empty, and refill it from the tube that's in the bathroom whenever I've got another trip to do. It's just a habit, it might save me some effort at check-in, security, etc, I dunno. Like I say, just a habit now.
Anyway, my point is this - Not only can you put toothpaste into an empty tube, but it turns out it's super easy, barely an inconvenience. And stripey toothpaste goes in stripey, and comes back out stripey.
