This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

GPO Telephone
GPO
Needs an adapter to get it to ring, but it's now a pleasure to slam down the phone on telemarketers.

This made me laugh a lot!
Youre right, there is no pleasure anymore than pressing the hang up button on people we dont like. There is nothing more rewarding than a good old slam the phone down. And back in the day the other end would have heard a louder than normal CLICK!

I've got one...
...but have you found a way to deal with 'press hash to continue'?

Whats the adapter you use as I have one on my desk but can't plug it in...

I have
seven - four black and three ivory, most of them have the chrome buttons for either "Call Exchange" or "Bell On - Bell Off". Something that just works, properly, though I only have three connected. I still have to have one cordless thing as the missus likes to prowl around the house while she talks crap to her mates. Oh, and for # and * . . ..

What about an adapter to get it to dial?
Do BT still support pulse dialling? If so, are there any plans to get rid of it?
