I'm deferring to Rotating Wobbly Hat in this instance.

It gets to a point (so to speak) where sex without love, or at the very least, respect and care (for both yourself and the other person) isn't worth it.

I've been single for longer than I care to think about. I occasionally have sex, pretty much to prove that I still can. It's inevitably a disappointment. If that's all I have to look forward to, I'd rather not bother.
