Our Ginger Fuhrer's young life was scarred by the discovery of an end-of-the-pier 'What The Butler Saw' machine and a jazz mag shoved behind a toilet cistern. Tell us about the first time you realised that there was more to life than sweet shops and Friday night TV

Primary school swimming trip. One mother there to help prevent drowning. Strangely, she was also allowed in boys' changing room to help her son get dried/changed (no idea why).
She was wearing a white towelling dressing gown. The belt was securely fastened and from her PoV must have seemed to be keeping the gown shut. The belt didn't really have much of an effect on the bottom half of her dressing gown, however, and her enormous, hairy muff was all too obviously out and pretty much at eye level of everyone sitting down.
It was too horrible to even be funny.

In fact, perhaps she was allowed to help because kids might need help?

i assume that the teacher had a marvelous mustache and a tool box that didnt find any use?
did the "changing room" have very bright lights and some sort of music playing very slowly in the back ground?
i am sure that if you think about this memory you will in fact come to realize that you are intact staring in playing a role in a 70's bong film with no pay and whats worse no credit at the end, this is no way to further your career and must be addressed as soon as possible

She took of her swimsuit, showered the chlorine off, then went to help.
Frankly I think you've some repressed feelings about your own mother if you find this odd. Women aren't sex objects, you know, and they may not always realise they're having a clothing problem. Heck, some even care about their kids and other people's kids.

I'd be working overtime, trying to repress that memory.

Are you talking about her muff or the situation?
I've never met a horrible muff.
Plenty of lovely ones, a few unhygienic ones (but that's easy dealt with), a couple of scary ones (I was probably just being a wuss)...
But I reckon I've never met a horrible muff, no not one...
Maybe I just love muff more than most?
Maybe I'm a pussyic*?
;)
*I say pussyic as opposed to pussyholic because there's no hol in pussyic. The hol is part of the words alcohol and alcoholic and it annoys the buggery out of me that we have words like chocoholic etc.
That is all.
