Hypocrisy
Overheard the other day: "I've told you before - stop swearing in front of the kids, for fuck's sake." Your tales of double standards please.

Alanis Morisette would be proud
To those of you who want to post something on here, might I suggest that you check the definition of hypocrisy: in essence it is saying one thing and doing another, such as you find people who use their phones in public irritating and then taking a call while in the cinema.
It does not mean post any vague story about something which has irritated you or perplexed you in the past, like how Princess Leia remembered her mother.

Now, excuse me a moment…
But I think the ‘Princess Leia’ post you mentioned does kind of qualify as hypocrisy.
Saying one thing then doing another?
All the way up to filming ‘Revenge of the Sith’, George Lucas had ‘said one thing’ (through his ‘Jedi’ script) initially that Leia could remember her mother. Then at a later time, just to suit his own ends, he has ‘done another thing’ by changing the plot so that it couldn’t be the case, although it was unnecessary to do so.
How did Obi-Wan put it again?
“So what I was saying was right…from a certain point of view”
Besides, my post was tongue-in-cheek…lighten up!
EDIT: I've just checked your profile, and it appears that in 1 year and seven months, you have NEVER ONCE clicked 'I like this'.
on ANYTHING.
Fuck me, you must be difficult to please.

If someone could translate this into English, I'd appreciate it.

Erm
"post any vague story"
Yes you just did that.
"something which has irritated you or perplexed you."
Yes you have both irritated me and perplexed me.
Well done!
Have a nail in the eye!
