This is a question Image Challenge suggestions

We think a good challenge idea is like the opening line of a joke, say "If ads told the truth... Guinness would say 'It makes you fat, and your shit turn black.'"

Maybe you have other ideas.

We're going to leave this thread open, so feel free to add ideas at any time. BTW: Please use the "i like this" button. Your voting really helps the good ideas bubble-up, and the very best will be used in the Image Challenge itself.

There but for the grace of God
If our heroes didn't make the big time, what would they be doing instead?

Iconic moments in TV, Film and History seem from the other guy's perspective
Pinging off from Happy Toast's 'Alien chestbuster PoV' this morning, is there mileage in a compo along the lines of "Iconic moments in TV, Film and History seem from the other guy's perspective"?

I have been Googling and searching high and low for a piece of kit that doesn't exist.
I even tried lycos, the dog ran away and never came back! How about giving us your best at none existent technology!

Misheard lyrics...
e.g. AC/DC, You Shook Me All Night Long, "She was a fax machine, she kept her modem clean" or "I was a toilet on the sea" by the Stranglers..

Showing my age there...

The Bee Gees are dead - is it too soon to make fun of their chipmunk-voiced careers?

B3TA IPO
Now Facebook is trading publicly, Mark Zuckerberg is a squillionaire - but Facebook tragics fear the changes wrought by money-hungry shareholders.

Surely Rob Manuel deserves the same - show us how B3ta will look one year on from it's own IPO.

AHEAD OF ITS TIME
Take modern technology and ideals back into time; what would the Medieval microwave look like, or the Viking vacuum cleaner?

Imposters!
John Terry wore his sports kit under his school uniform and managed to get himself front centre of all the Chelsea Champions League photos despite being banned from the final.
Who else has turned up where they shouldn't be?

Classic b3ta - Cats versus Dogs
Lets have a week of canines, felines and their weapons of destruction.
Cats versus Dogs, hand to hand combat or armed to the teeth, you decide.

Misinterpret the headlines
For example: 'Met Police to charge Brooks' - draw a police officer plugging Rebekah Brooks into the wall. 'Bankers eye Clinton collapse' draw Bill Clinton on the floor. 'Leveson to probe Murdoch further' - er... you get the idea.

Design a business card for Zeus.
And win $300 cash and $100 credit with Moo (really).

P.S. I'm nothing to do with them, just get cards printed by them. Plus their entry is crap.

I saw this and think it should win the compo
After a lot of people submitting their own brand of 9/11 Hogan, I thought it'd make a great image challenge if everyone put their best on display and we decide once and for all who shall win the compo!

Remade Abroad

Take something quintessentially British and show us the American remake - or vice-versa!
What would a British version of Happy Days look like? Or if America had a Monarchy?
Take us further abroad: how would Winnie The Pooh be different if AA Milne was born in France?

If Gervais is allowed, so are we...
To celebrate Ricky Gervais managing to smuggle the bullying of the mentally disabled past censors and onto channel 4 why not have an image challenge doing the same.
Make an image which mocks defenceless people so much even Ricky Gervais would be ashamed of it. Bonus points if they are physically AND mentally disabled.

Rebranding Al-Qaeda?
b3ta Image Challenge was very first thought that popped into my head when I saw Guardian's headline...

"Osama bin Laden considered rebranding al-Qaida, documents reveal"

"Leader felt affiliate groups were tarnishing reputation of Islamist group, according to documents seized during fatal raid"
