This is a question Little Victories

I recently received a £2 voucher from a supermarket after complaining vociferously about the poor quality of their own-brand Rich Tea biscuits, which I spent on more tasty, tasty biscuits. Tell us about your trivial victories that have made life a tiny bit better.

I sued the council.....
While at a meeting, my motorbike - which had a valid pay-and-display ticket displayed in a second tax disc holder on the bike - got two parking tickets within one hour, which in itself is illegal.

After 9 months appealing against both tickets and obviously winning, I decided I was feb up with Southwark wasting my time. So I sent them an invoice for my time spend on this. When they didn't pay, I took them to the small claims court - AND WON!

And I got a cheque for £300. Hahaha in your face Soutwark!

as a fellow biker i have watched lots of parking areas removed altogether for Bikes all around the UK.
This story made me smile and restored my faith that common sense can occasionally prevail.
Can you elaborate what you spent the 300 sheets on ?

MASSIVE DRUGS AND SUPERMODEL BLOWJOB

Biker.
Having seen your username I wondered if you were the same 'Cov Boy' who has the personalised number plate on his silver bmw that I often see. He also has 'CCFC' in silver letters across the boot lid lip.

I'm guessing not if you've got a bike.

If it's the same one I'm thinking of, he lives around the corner from me, parking his silver BMW wankmobile on the pavement all the time.
(, Thu 10 Feb 2011, 19:53, closed)
Sounds about right.
I usually see it parked up on the pavement near the weird non-roundabout on the Tamworth/Keresley Road.
(, Mon 14 Feb 2011, 10:06, closed)
Almost certainly the same one then
I'm in the void between Keresley and Corley...
(, Mon 14 Feb 2011, 21:46, closed)
The void.
Good terminology. I'm never sure what to call that area myself I usually plump for 'you know the area near the Royal Court'. I drive through it to work everyday.

I worked out how much my hourly pay was
And then worked out it took about an hour a letter, plus time on the phone etc etc. Added it up and it came to £300. Wuup!

Bloody hell, that's good...
... why didn't it make the national press?

If we could all sue knob-end companies and councils for the time that we waste due to their incompetence most of us could retire by the age of forty.

*clicks*

*eyes up National Express East Anglia*
