What is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

I had a Scout leader who was very nice and who did all sort of interesting activities for us kids and who wasn't a nonce, honest. Maybe I was just an unsexy child.

I had one of those too.We all thought he was a wierdo nonce at the time, and used to take the piss out of him for it constantly. We hated him.
Recently (in the light of yewtree etc) I remembered this and did some googling.
He'd died several years ago, wasn't a nonce as far as I could tell, and had had an obituary in the Guardian describing a pretty impressive life and some pretty impressive achievements.
I was such an ignorant little cunt when I was a kid, but I'm bigger now.
